For over 120 years Australian men and women have served around the world in defence of our country, our allies, and our values. Australian defence personnel have served with dignity, honour and bravery. We will never forget their service and their sacrifice, and this ANZAC Day we pause to remember and to thank them.
No matter how you mark Anzac Day this year - at a Dawn service, at your own home, at your local RSL, or watching the national service on television - I encourage all Australians to pause and reflect on all those who have served, and those who continue to serve.

The Treasurer, the Hon Josh Frydenberg, recently delivered the 2022-23 Federal Budget.
The last two years have been tough for our country. Despite the challenges, Australia’s economy is strong and unemployment is at 4%, the equal lowest in 48 years.
Around 69,300 taxpayers in Mitchell will benefit from tax relief of up to $1,500 this year, made up of the $1,080 low- and middle-income tax offset and a $420 cost of living tax offset.

The weather conditions have eased at the moment, but more rain is forecast for North West Sydney over the coming days. Please be aware of your surroundings, stay away from floodwaters, and follow the advice of emergency management and local authorities.
