The Morrison Government will list Qinlock®️ (ripretinib) on the PBS for the treatment of advanced gastrointestinal stromal tumour (GIST). 
 
Without PBS subsidy, around 50 patients each year might pay more than $179,900 per course of treatment. Instead, they will pay a maximum of $41.30 per script or $6.60 with a concession card.
 
The Morrison Government’s commitment to ensuring that Australians can access affordable medicines, when they need them, remains rock solid.

The Morrison Government has marked World Diabetes Day by releasing a new 10 year plan to better support Australians in Mitchell living with all forms of diabetes.

The Australian National Diabetes Strategy 2021–2030 will drive real improvements in the prevention, early detection, management, and care of people with diabetes.

The Mitchell community are encouraged to observe a minute’s silence this Remembrance Day, to reflect on the service and sacrifice of all those Australians who have suffered and died in times of war.

Federal Member for Mitchell, the Hon Alex Hawke MP, said it was important to continue the tradition of pausing at the 11th hour on the 11th day of the 11th month to commemorate our fallen.
