We would not accept these faceless attacks in a school, at home, in the office, or on the street. And we must not stand for it online, on our devices and in our homes.
All Australians should be able to engage online confidently, to work, communicate, and be entertained without fear of abuse, humiliation or exposure to harmful content.

The Morrison Government has recently signed a landmark free trade agreement with the United Kingdom, delivering a significant boost to Australian businesses and jobs.
Federal Member for Mitchell, the Hon Alex Hawke MP, said this is a once-in-a-generation agreement that will benefit Australian businesses.
Youth Mental Health and suicide prevention are important issues in our community and throughout Australia. With the increase of social media and online bullying together with the impact from COVID-19, the rise of mental health issues in young people is concerning.
I recently had the opportunity to host a roundtable discussion with key community leaders, who work tirelessly to support young people, to examine what more needs to be done to address these issues.
Local residents are set to benefit from new action to crack down on frustrating and potentially costly scam messaging which has been welcomed by Federal Member for Mitchell, the Hon Alex Hawke MP.
“The Morrison Government has taken strong action to shut down scam text messages. I know that many local residents have received malicious scam text messages, so this is a really positive step forward,” Alex Hawke said.
