Labor’s Budget does nothing to help people across Mitchell get ahead and to restore their standard of living.

We needed a Budget that:

  • Restored our standard of living by finally addressing inflation and cost of living pressures;
  • Restored prosperity and created opportunity by supporting small businesses and helping young Australians into a home; and
  • Restored budget discipline and honesty.

Labor’s third Budget has failed all of these tests.

Today we laid to rest a national hero, Faraz Tahir.

Faraz made the ultimate sacrifice of his life, protecting others, during the recent Bondi attack. Tragically on the first day working at his job.

Together as a Western Sydney community we paid tribute to his life and great courage, his sacrifice for others and commiserated with his family and community.

Please consider attending a local service.

Aminya Village & Centre at Baulkham Hills, held a beautiful ANZAC Commemoration service.

It was an honour to remember and give thanks for the service and sacrifice of all those who fought for our freedoms.

We had the opportunity to view the Norm John Butler photo gallery of residents and family members who served in past conflicts of War. This gallery included the discharge papers of 101 year old Jack Weller's father Edward Weller signed by His Majesty King George VI. Absolutely incredible.
