The Morrison Government has recently signed a landmark free trade agreement with the United Kingdom, delivering a significant boost to Australian businesses and jobs.
Federal Member for Mitchell, the Hon Alex Hawke MP, said this is a once-in-a-generation agreement that will benefit Australian businesses.

Youth Mental Health and suicide prevention are important issues in our community and throughout Australia. With the increase of social media and online bullying together with the impact from COVID-19, the rise of mental health issues in young people is concerning.
I recently had the opportunity to host a roundtable discussion with key community leaders, who work tirelessly to support young people, to examine what more needs to be done to address these issues.
Local residents are set to benefit from new action to crack down on frustrating and potentially costly scam messaging which has been welcomed by Federal Member for Mitchell, the Hon Alex Hawke MP.
“The Morrison Government has taken strong action to shut down scam text messages. I know that many local residents have received malicious scam text messages, so this is a really positive step forward,” Alex Hawke said.

Prime Minister Scott Morrison and Attorney-General Michaelia Cash announced urgent reforms that will both address the significant harm dealt by trolls, bots and bigots and respond to the High Court’s decision in the Voller case.

The Morrison Government will invest $22.4 million over five years to establish a Domestic, Family and Sexual Violence Commission to oversee the implementation of the next National Plan to end violence against women and children.
The Commission will support the Government in providing policy leadership, developing and fostering relationships across the sector and ensuring greater cooperation and transparency between the Commonwealth, states and territories in delivering the targets and objectives of the next National Plan.
