Aminya Village & Aminya Centre held a beautiful ANZAC Commemoration service today. It was a honour to remember and give thanks for the service of all those who fought for our freedoms and the great sacrifices made for our nation.
I also want to pay tribute to Norm Butler, who co-ordinated an incredible photo gallery of residents and family members who served in past conflicts of War.
Lest we forget
Today I had the pleasure of opening the new Coles Supermarket at Box Hill at the brand new Carmel Village Shopping centre. 120 enthusiastic staff were also met by Coles Chairman James Graham AM.
Our growing Box Hill community will formally welcome the full Carmel Village shops on May 7.
And as local Federal Member I am continuing to lead the campaign for the metro line extension from St Marys to Rouse Hill (to the second Sydney airport) to be built now and not put off. We need infrastructure being built the same time as our suburbs are rapidly growing.
The Coalition welcomes the Government’s announcement of the next step in the AUKUS partnership established by the Coalition Government in 2021.
The AUKUS endeavour is too important to fail. We will provide bipartisan support for the acquisition of nuclear-powered submarines, which will radically transform Australia’s ability to defend ourselves.

It was an great opportunity to attend the University of Canberra Sydney Hills Campus (UCSH) located in the heart of Castle Hill. A university in the Hills is now a reality creating opportunities for locals to access higher education close to home. It is wonderful to see students from right across western Sydney studying here in the vital health sector which is so needed after the COVID -19 Pandemic.
