The Local Sporting Champions program provides increased financial assistance for young sporting achievers (aged 12-18) who participate in state, national or international level championships then apply now for Round 2 of Mitchell Local Sporting Grants.
A grant of $500-$750 per individual is available to help meet costs such as travel, equipment, uniforms and accommodation.

Australian defence personnel have served with dignity, honour and bravery. We will never forget their service and their sacrifice, and this ANZAC Day we pause to remember and to thank them.

Around 69,300 taxpayers in Mitchell will benefit from tax relief of up to $1,500 this year, made up of the $1,080 low- and middle-income tax offset and a $420 cost of living tax offset.
